  1. Thanks for these ideas but none of them work for my iMac problem because I don’t have an alt button and there is no Profiles in my systems prefs. WeKnow shows in Chrome as my search engine but I still can’t get rid of it. I’ll next call apple support again.

    • Thanks for the feedback. I want to mention that Alt is the equivalent of the Option button so you should use Option button. In any case, try to reset the browser’s settings. If it doesn’t work, you may apply for the antimalware program.
